| 02/16/2010 Hi Wyatt, I got the reproducer back on Saturday; works great! I can hear the music and understand the lyrics! The nostalgia effect is awesome. -Blaine, KY |

02-10-2009 From David in Ohio,
"I notice a great improvement in clarity & increased volume of both disc and cylinder records with your new diaphragms, and "dubbed" amberols sound much better. Thanks for your work!" |
| From Kevan in Canada: "Well I got my reproducer back from Wyatt 3 days ago and have been playing some of my best records. I have to say there is a vast improvment in the sound quality. I have yet to purchase an electric diamond disc but I bet it will blow my mind as much as it will blow yours. The clarity of some sounds that would have went unnoticed before, stand out and have to be mentioned. Just the simple sound of the chimes in a christmas song I have seem to ring or carry longer. I wish I could have you all over to hear for yourselfs. I am very very very happy with the rebuild and I guess thats what counts in the end. I know everyone has there favorite rebuild person and maybe someday I will try them all and maybe I'll try my hand at rebuilding one myself. But for now I just wanna play my records." THANKS WYATT! |
| From R.W. in California, April 18, 2008 Edison Diamond Disc reproducer Dear Mr. Markus, |
| EDISONIC DIAMOND DISC Hi Wyatt, The Edisonic arrived today. Where do I start in singing your praises? Perhaps a good starting point is that we do not know how this reproducer performed when it was brand new, factory fresh! We can only guess from the published accounts of the Edison Tone Tests. Remember," Comparison with the Living Artist reveals no difference". I would venture to think that with your new diaphram and other adjustments you have been able to bring the reproduction of Edison Diamond Discs to a new level. I first tried the reproducer on an acoustic dance recording. Outstanding to say the least. Then, since I like opera I played a operatic aria that I have enjoyed for many years...WOW! It was like the artist was right in my living room. Just like the Edison advertisments said they would sound. The cherry on the sundae was my electric recording of "Singing In The Rain." Pure unadultrated sound. So, my friend you have certainly contributed much listning happiness to the Edison collector. May you continue to spread your gift in good health for many, many years. In appreciation, -Tommy C. Fri, 29 Sep 2006 |

EDISON DIAMOND DISC |
| EDISON DIAMOND DISC Wyatt, We missed the delivery of the reproducer on Saturday so we had to wait until Tuesday to go to the post office and fetch it. We've listened to it and the results are in. We love it. It does really sound better. Less white noise, a crisper, truer high-end, more volume, and outstanding clarity. Wow! Thank you very much! Brandt K. 10-12-2006 |

EDISON AMBEROLA DIAMOND C
Wyatt, Couldn't wait till
tomorrow night to see how the reproducer sounds, so moved some furniture
and got to my 30. Played a song on the old reproducer and the same song with
your rebuilt one, what a difference! The early flat tops are unreal
in the difference between the two reproducers. The piccoloes in The Stars
and Stripes Forever are really bright. Was listening to # 1547, Silver
Threads Among the Gold, by Oakland, and wow, it is so high/loud it is hard
on your ears. Very noticeable difference. Am anxious to try the reproducer
in the 50. Bet it will be so loud it would need a volumn control. Really
great job on the rebuild.
Thanks,
John

| EDISONIC Yikes!...this is going to take some getting used to...it's really bright and very loud...but nothing distorts (unless it's the record itself)...just played a couple of dance records...one electric...and the quartet from Rigoletto which was really interesting in that I could hear all four distinctly at the same time without that muddled-up effect....and Alice Verlet's soprano high notes didn't distort...so...sooner or later I'll send my standard D.D. reproducer, and probably my friend's as a present of some sort. Thanks for getting it back to me so quickly...I'm sure I'll be
chained to my machine for awhile Tone Testing...Phil

Hi Wyatt, |
| Hi Wyatt,
I hope you're enjoying your traveling and also getting plenty
of rest.
I was listening to DDs yesterday. The sound is awesome!
A crisp, solid sound--no distortion, blasting, or vibrating. It's like a new machine altogether. Thanks so much! Rocky

Mr. Markus Sir: Just played my Vicsonia on the Victrola #IX
and am stunned. You, Sir, are a genius. (and a smart one, too!) Many thanks...Phil
[A "Vicsonia" is a VERY RARE reproducer attachment for a Victrola that allows it to play Diamond Disc records!] |
