As you can see, underneath all that baked-on shellac, there is
wood! It took THREE (count-em--THREE!) applications to remove the
thick
rhino-like finish.

The interior was so dark and crusty that it too needed to be stripped. OY, what a job.






The drip pan (sits under motor) is different from any other Amberola
1-A model observed. It has been stripped and re-painted glossy
black as original.
FINALLY got the majority of the wood work done to the corner pillars,
and did some filling of minor imperfections. I proceeded to
stain the wood (inside and out) to help locate more imperfections to
repair.
