Where to Stay

For those of you coming up from Boston, we highly recommend that you get a place to stay (even though it takes only 2.5 hours to get there). We're gonna try to get a taxi service from both of these locations so that you don't have to navigate your way down to the yacht club AND to prevent any drunk driving. We're gonna have good beer and wine so do expect to have a few.

There are plenty of other places to stay in the area. We recommend these 2 since they are enroute to the club.

Recommendation #1: Parkwood Inn (http://www.parkwoodinn.com)
This is probably the newest hotel in Brunswick located just outside Cook's Corner. This is for the people who have taste and want to stay some place nice. 800-349-7181 or email sales@parkwoodinn.com

Recommendation #2: Travelodge/Atrium (http://www.the.travelodge.com/brunswick12601)
(They're online reservation system doesn't seem to be up.) This is one of the older hotels in the area and is located in the heart of Cook's Corner. This is for people who don't really care where they stay or who are into tacky. They have a pool, 2 restaurants, an indoor miniature golf course, and ancient talking birds. 207-729-5555

Note: If any of you are staying at either the Atrium or the Parkwood Inn, we're gonna try to provide a taxi service from both locations so that you don't have to navigate or drive down to the club (especially if you plan on drinking). This will depend on how many people RSVP who are from away.
