What to Expect

What to expect? Well the unexpected. This is basically a big party that happens to have a wedding at it.

Good beer. Good wine. Ocean. 80's musik. Cheese cake. Thai food.

Since the wedding is so close to Halloween (the best holiday ever) and we don't really like anything "weddingish", we thought we'd go with more of a October 31st theme. What this means is up to you. Come in a costume if you'd like. Carve a pumpin. Be creative.

Food and Drink
We will be providing beer (Spaten and Guiness), wine (Chianti and Chardonnay), cheesecake (Izzy's Cheesecake) and Thai food (including a vegetarian option). We'll also set up the grill with hot dogs and hamburgers so if you're not into Thai food you'll have the old standby. Feel free to bring your favorite liquour drinks (they have a big fridge). And a late coming suggestion would be that people can bring their favorite food specialty (whether it stuffed dates, greek appetizers, cocktail hotdogs, deviled eggs, etc.) that they would like to share with the other guests. I know there are some good chefs amongst our friends and family that have much to show off... wink wink.

Gifts
We don't want any gifts. We have enough crap. The best gift you can give us is your presence at the wedding!... I guess if you HAVE to give us something we're registered with West Marine (search for Amy Patton #1169381).

Kids
Kids are welcome. I don't think there will be many there so they might get bored. It's up to you.

About Bridesmaids
Amy is having an open invite on bridesmaids. Anyone may be a bridesmaid as long as they wear a dress (no skirts, kilts, togas, or unfashionable moo-moos please).
