| Remove the battery cover; it is held by a clip on the right side. Now unscrew the tiedown with a 10mm socket wrench. This is tricky as it is a single bolt that was screwed in very solidly in my car. You will probably need to get someone under the car to hold the bolt tight with some pliers while another person does the unscrewing. Thank goodness you dont have to screw it on so tight when you put the battery back. Once you have the tiedown off, remove both battery terminals by loosening the hold down bolts and wiggling the whole terminal up and off. Remove the battery and set it somewhere. Be careful as the battery is quite heavy. |
